Event Description
Reception

The wedding reception is the calm after the storm - no chanting priests, no fire rituals, and definitely no surprise dance numbers.
Traditionally, it’s the occasion where the newly married couple is formally introduced to friends, relatives, and well-wishers, and in return, guests shower them with blessings, gifts, and lots of camera flashes. Think of it as the red-carpet moment of an Indian wedding - only with more sarees, sherwanis, and people asking, “Beta, do you recognise me?”
Ours will be a relaxed evening with light instrumental music, conversations, and plenty of photos with the couple (consider this your paparazzi moment). Dinner follows - because in India, no celebration is complete until you’ve eaten at least twice your normal capacity. It’s less about rituals now and more about sharing love, laughter, and good food before we wrap up the wedding festivities.
